A young man who allegedly stole a laptop has paid with his life after an angry mob beat him to death.
The spate at which people take laws into their hands and mete out jungle justice to suspects is quite alarming with no day that passes without such an occurrence in almost every part of the country.

Such a scenario repeated itself in the highbrow Lekki Penninsula area of Lagos State when a young man suspected to have stolen a laptop was beaten to death by an angry mob that had gathered.
The incident, according to an eyewitness who posted it on Twitter, Odior Oshioke Odior, happened along Admiralty Way in the Phase 1 part of the Penninsula.
This is what Odior posted:
"The man reportedly stole a laptop which made him get the beating of his life. His lifeless body was spotted lying in the middle of the road on Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, as residents await for arrival of the authorities."
