Against All Odds: Handicapped Nigerian man graduates from Cyprus University

Ahmad Suyudi reportedly graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Akdenniz University, Cyprus, last week.

Proving once again that disability is no hindrance to success, a handicapped young man has gone on to graduate from a University in Cyprus.

Ahmad Suyudi reportedly graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Akdenniz University, Cyprus, last week.

Suyudi had been diagnosed with Becker's Muscular Distrophy back in 1999 which eventually led to the loss of control of his legs, keeping him bound to a wheel chair.

Becker's Muscular Distrophy an X-linked recessive gene inherited disorder characterized by slow but progressive weakness in the muscles of the legs and pelvis.

The disorder is said to usually appear about the age of 11 but may occur as late as age 25.
