The recent killings raise more tension concerning the activities of the cattle rearers, who have been making the news for attacks on innocent civilians.
Three men have been reported dead after attack suspected to be carried out by Fulani herdsmen in Ogun State.
This happened in the Ilewo-Orile community in the state, where frequent attacks from the cattle rearers has been occurring.
The victims, Amosun Ogunronbi, Owolabi Ogunronbi, who are brothers, and a man named Philip, were reportedly hacked to death, according to Daily Post.
Philip was killed on Friday, June 17, 2016. His motorcycle, mobile phone and undisclosed cash amount were taken.

According to an anonymous source, his corpse was discovered by his wife, when she was making her way to the market.
The source said, “Philip was killed on Friday night after suspected herdsmen accosted him and snatched his motorcycle, mobile phone and some money.”
“Philip is an Egun man. He went to work on Friday but didn’t return. When his wife was going to the market in Ibara-Orile at the weekend, she saw the dead body of her husband by the road side.”
The Ogunronbis, who are the first set of victims, were hacked to death while returning from a trip, according to the source.
“Amosun went to collect some thrift savings in Ishaga-Orile and he asked his brother (Owolabi) to convey him there with his motorcycle.”
“When they were coming back, Fulani herdsmen attacked them at about 8:30p.m. They hacked them to death.”
“Some commercial motorcyclists who passed by later saw Amosun’s lifeless body by the road side and they raised the alarm.”
The matter has been reported at the Lafenwa Police Station and the state police headquarters at Eleweran, Abeokuta, for investigations.
