The young woman in her 20's, whose identity has been withheld, has reportedly been permitted to die after her doctors decided that her mental disorder could not be cured.
The victim had according to reports, been molested between the ages of five and 15 and has been suffering post-traumatic stress following the abuse.
Daily Mail reports that the victim has undergone 'intensive therapy' and although her psychological condition improved, doctors in the Netherlands have decided to accept her request to die.
The reports reveal that the victim suffers from severe anorexia, chronic depression, suicidal mood swings, self-harming, hallucinations, obsessions and compulsions.
According to the papers released by the Dutch Euthanasia Commission which lists the conditions which the victim suffers from, adds that it has left her almost entirely bedridden and suffering unbearable pain.
The victim's psychiatrist says:
"There was no prospect or hope for her," while describing her suffering as "unbearable".
The reports reveal that a final medical report approved the "termination of life" order and that woman had been given lethal injections.
