What will be your reaction if you are told that your mother who is very caring and loving, is behind your childlessness?
Happiness, a woman who has been married for 16 years without a child is informed by her prophet that her loving and very caring mother is a witch and the one behind her predicaments. The only solution is for the woman to die so that she can have her own babies.
What would you do in her position?
Read her letter here:
"My name is Happiness and I have been married for 16 years now but there is no happiness in my life as I have not been blessed with a fruit of the womb.
My only saving grace is that my husband, Steve, has been very supportive and has stood by despite several battles that have been waged on me by his family who have at one time or the other, ordered me out of the house but he has continuously told them he is the one that should be worried and not them.
There is nothing I have not done in my bid to get a child of my own, all to no avail. I have visited hospital, fertility centers, pastors, herbalists, taken uncountable drugs, done sacrifices, undergo dry fasting and assignment, but nothing have worked so far.
Sometime ago, Mabel, my very good friend told me of a very powerful prophet based in my home state of Akwa Ibom and told me that if I get to meet the man of God, he will surely get to the root of my problems.
Without thinking twice, I packed my bags and with Mabel, we made for my place and promptly went to meet the prophet.
After undergoing counselling and prayers with him, he told me that my mother is the one behind my childlessness and that unless she confesses and dies, I will remain barren.
He said I must undergo a 21 dry fast period and at the end of the day, my mother will die and I will be free.
But I find hard to believe is that my mother has always been so concerned about my problems and has taken me to so many men of God.
In fact, she has undertaken fasting on my behalf several times. So how could such a woman be the one to hold my womb? I don't know what to believe.
When I told my husband what the prophet wants me to do, he was mad at me for even going to the prophet whom he calls fake and has forbidden me from ever going there. He loves my mother so much and would never believe what the prophet said.
He told me that if God wants us to have our own children, nothing will ever stop us.
But age is no more on my side and I want to have my own child.
Happiness."
