Earlier rumours had it that the accused beat his wife to death after discovering that she had been having an extra marital relationship with her boss.
An autopsy report released to the Lagos State Department of Criminal Investigation, has revealed that Ronke, the late wife of Lekan Shonde, died from respiratory seizure.
This was confirmed on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, by Punch Metro.
News agencies had earlier reported that Lekan Shonde allegedly beat Ronke to death after discovering that he was having an affair with her boss identified as Kayode.
Shonde's alleged violent history against Ronke, put forward by her sister, Bolatito, almost made it certain that the deceased died from domestic violence.

The accused, Lekan Shonde, made the decision to surrender himself to the police based on persuasion from close friends.
He however maintained his innocence concerning the suggestion that he killed his late wife, stating that he returned back home to find her lying face down.
