News reports have revealed the arrest of a man after being filmed sexually assaulting his girlfriends dog at the home they share together in New York.

The suspect identified as Jesus Gutierrez, 39, was finally arrested following the submission of a complaint by his girlfriend after she had seen the content of the recording.
Gutierrez's 43-year-old girlfriend had reportedly been away at work during the time of the incident but had been responsible for setting up the secret camera.
Prosecutors on the case have been revealed to base their claims on the said video recording which is yet to be released to the court, but Gutierrez's lawyer insists that there is lack of evidence, asking to see the clip.

Gutierrez who had reportedly been arrested but later released on bail, now faces charges of animal torture and sexual conduct with an animal.
