It is reported that more than 100 young girls have been poisoned at a school in Afghanistan as officials investigate the cause of the mystery contamination.
More than 100 female students at a school in Farah fell victim to food contamination, the source if which is yet to be identified, though officials have launched a probe into the cause of the occurrence.

The children were suffering from fever and shivering and admitted to hospital after the incident, which happened at a girls school in the city of Farah, in the western province of the country

Mohammad Nasir Mehri, the provincial governor's spokesman, confirmed that 106 school girls were 'mysteriously' poisoned, according to Khaama Press.
Public health officials also confirmed that the youngsters had been taken to hospital to be treated for poisoning. The circumstances surrounding the incident is yet to be ascertained and an investigation is underway.
