A fake police officer with 23 children and five wives has been arrested with several bags of hemp.
A man who has been parading himself as a Superintendent of Police, George Oliseh, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command, and discovered from the fake officer were 10 bags of weed suspected to be Indian Hemp.

It was gathered that the suspect who wore a police uniform with the insignia and rank of an officer, and also had an identity card which bore the rank, was arrested at Sagamu, in the state while bringing the drugs from Owo, Ondo State, in his Toyota Camry car with number plate, RSH 101 RE.
Oliseh was arrested alongside one Isaac Ishicheli, who claimed to be his brother-in-law.
The state Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Ali, who paraded the suspects at the Command's headquarters at Eleweran, Abeokuta, warned members of the public to be wary of some scrupulous people who impersonate members of the force, vowing to deal decisively with anyone caught in the act.

Oliseh, a 64-year-old man, while begging for mercy, said it was poverty and frustration that forced him into the illicit business, adding that he had to take care of 23 children and five wives.
He explained that he was a policeman, but was dismissed from the force after he suffered partial stroke on the left hand and leg.
After his dismissal, he said he became a commercial driver plying Idanre and Akure routes but when he met a police officer who was active dealer in the hemp trade, he went into it full time.
“It was Inspector Umukoro, an Urhobo man from Delta, who introduced the business to me, and I embraced it. I was a former corporal in the police. I joined the force in 2002, but I was dismissed in 2009.
It was frustration and poverty that forced me into the business, because I have to take care of 23 children and five wives, though two had left.”
