News reports have revealed that a heart and kidney transplant patient was reportedly killed in an ambulance crash, hours after undergoing the successful life-saving operation.

The unfortunate victim, James Larson, 36, had reportedly perished in the crash which occurred while being transported to a rehabilitation facility on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, after awaking from the long-awaited surgery.
The reports reveal that the ambulance he had been travelling in had slammed into an overpass, killing him and the driver instantly.
Mr Larson was according to reports, being driven from Mount Sinai Hospital to Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility in Uniondale to recover from his operation.

Mr Larson's grief stricken relatives revealed to News Day that it had been the first time he had left the hospital in 15 months.
