Citizens staged a peaceful protest to show their sadness over the death of a 31-year old woman, Monique Koumate, who died in front of the hospital pregnant.
Following the death of Monique Koumate as a result of the alleged negligence of the management of Laquantinie hospital, Douala, Cameroon, citizens staged a peaceful protest on Sunday, March 13, 2016.
According to reports, the peaceful protest held at the front of the government hospital, which is believed to have neglected the pregnant woman till she died after which her niece tried saving her twin babies.

It has been reported that many people have been dying in Cameroon in recent weeks due to their inabilities to meet up the financial demands of government owned hospitals in the country.
