The 5th Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) kicked off last night – Sunday, 8th November 2015 with an opening ceremony at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, The Palms, Lekki.
The African premiere of Jonas Carpignano’s ‘Mediterranea’ held during the opening night followed by a Jazz reception at the Maison Fahrenheit.
The event was star-studded and stars like Rita Dominic, Ini Edo, Ruth Kadiri, OC Ukeje, Hilda Dokubo, Toni Tones, Kiki Omeili, Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Ramsey Nouah and many more were spotted.
The festival will run through Sunday, 15th November and you can get more information about the films that will be screened as well as the judges here.
