The Nigerian Senate has on Thursday resumed the screening of president Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees.
Relief was the order of the day for a former Rivers State Governor, Senator Rotimi Ameachi as his name on Thursday appeared on the order paper as one of those to be screened as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Ameachi is to be screened alongside 6 ministerial nominees, alongside five others.
They are former Speaker, Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Heineken Lopkobiri; Claudius Omoyele Daramola (Ondo), Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Prof. Isaac Adewole, Baba Shehun Mustapha and aspirant at the All Progressives Congress (APC) guber primaries in Kogi State, Ocholi Enojo James.
