It looks like we get to see some pieces from the Balmain for H&M collaboration collection sooner than we think.
A female Instagram user, @KSwartz83 (Kathryn Swartz Rees), claims to have hacked into Balmain’s accounts and gotten images from the brand’s new collaboration. She leaked 99 still-life images from the highly anticipated collection, and showcased them for other social media users to see.
Speaking to The Cut, she explained how she acquired the images after using just the right set of words and Internet skills. “H&M’s site was indexed by Google and I happened to search at the right time using the right parameters.” “All images were taken from that H&M URL. No surprise, that site is no longer live.“
The images seem to be authentic. Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner have been seen rocking some pieces from the set Kathryn released.
After checking the hackers Instagram page, it appears she has been contacted by representatives of the fashion brand to take down the images which she complied with.
Although she released images of the collection before the due date, the hacker seems to be harmless. She is however letting people know how she hacked the account. To find out more, check out her Insatgram page Here.
The collection is set to be released officially on November 5th.
