Top celebrities including Don Jazzy, Julius Agwu, Cynthia Morgan, Bervely Osu, Gbenro Ajibade, Di'Ja, Tayo Faniran, Di'Ja, Ketchup, Unlimited LA, Adekunle Gold and others have thrown their weights behind the gifted Grafton act, Mr 2Kay. This support is coming ahead of the singer's new song titled, "Moniegram". The song features another Nigerian music heavyweight – Timaya.
"Moniegram" is sequel to the rave making single, "Who No Like Better Thing" which was released some weeks ago. Already, the video for "Moniegram" has been shot by Clarence Peters, which explains why Mr 2Kay and Timaya were in a picture that leaked last week.
The photo campaign for #Moniegram is being driven by the slogan, "I no come Lagos come joke". The phrase is a line off the song which is expected exclusively on MTN Plus, to be followed by the video and download links of the audio and radio play in the coming days.
Mr 2Kay has clearly raised the bar of his art, hence his two nominations at the Headies for the first time and winning at the last Nigeria Entertainment Awards in America. The love and support towards the singer from fans, music pundits and fellow artistes is definitely a reflection of what is yet to come from the Grafton Entertainment artiste.
