MTV Base revealed earlier on that Diamond Platnumz is the winner of the 2015 MTV EMAs Best African Act, beating Davido, Yemi Alade, AKA & DJ Arafat.

Diamond Platnumz is now set to go against  the winning act from India to be named Best Africa/India Act.
