Zomadee is a new Afro-Pop artist debuting with the song ‘Mama Joanna,’born in Nigeria and currently lives in Houston, Texas.
Zomadee enjoys running, writing and singing.
‘Mama Joanna’ is a song about an African woman who moves to a big city from the countryside, struggles and succeeds, becomes an ‘Oga in Lagos’. It is a universal story of survival.
First studio work was done by Americans Austin Smith, Jonathan Chan and Chris Longwood in Houston. Nigeria’s ace Producer Chris Okoro did the final ‘Afromatic’ beat in Lagos. Song video was done in Houston by Viz Tv Media with help from Nigerian and American volunteers including Keith mays and Romelda Doherty.
Zomadee is working on more songs. Watch out! Coming songs will be hot and ‘Afromatic’. Some will have the tickling, Highlife feel of ‘Mama Joanna’. Some will not, but you can always tell that the songwriter lived in Lagos. That’s for sure!
